DEFINITIONS Undefined terms here are the same as those in our Terms and Conditions
PERSONAL DATA We store no data that can be used to directly identify you as an
individual, however, if you choose to provide us with your email address, this is considered pseudoanonymized data, and could be used by
an individual with appropriate resources to identify yourself.
Data you chose to provide by creating an account In order for you to use the repository management
platform, you provide us with data to identify your user on our servers. This data includes:
Usernames. When you sign up for an account, you provide us with a username
to identify your account on the server. This is stored on our servers. This should not be any data that identifies you.
Passwords. When you sign up for an account, you provide us with a password to
secure your account. We hash this password and store the hash on our servers.
Data you choose to provide, but is not a requirement for an account Certain features of
the mod management system may only be available when optional data is provided to us, this data includes:
Email Addresses. You can optionally provide us with an email address which we will use to
facilitate account recovery in the event you lose access to your account, such as forgetting your password. We do not
store a plain text copy of your email address on our servers, we instead hash it with a password-level hashing algorithm.
This means we cannot show you your email you set, nor can we access it, or in the event of a data breach, an attacker access it.
Data required to use the service In order for this service to function, we use a
session cookie to track the account you are logged in as on the repository manager. This is simply a
session ID that references information on the server. This session cookie is deleted as soon as you
log off from the system or your browser session expires. The information stored about the session will
only ever include:
Usernames. The username of the account you sign in as must be tracked to
allow you to access your content.
User IDs. The unique ID for the account you sign in as must be tracked to
enable other features, such as changing your password and uploading mods.
We also as per standard security practice log all IP addresses of connections to the server. We
cannot trace these IP addresses back to any individuals, and logs will never be shared unless at the
request of applicable authorities.
Data required to upload content In order to upload content, you choose to
provide us with data relating to that content, restrictions on the content allowed are defined in our
Terms and Conditions. This data includes:
Content Names
Content descriptions
Content files
WHAT WE DO WITH YOUR DATA We will never share any data with any other platforms,
however, we do use your data to provide services for other users of the repository. Data you provide to us
is used to:
Provide our services. We user personal information to:
Allow you to access the repository.
Allow you to manage your content on the repository.
Enable users to download content you upload.
Enable other users to get information about content you upload.
Create and maintain a secure and trusted platform. Your data is used to:
Identify and prevent spam and malicious content on the repository.
SHARING AND DISCLOSURE In order to provide the repository service, data relating to
content you upload (as defined in section 2(iii)) will be publicly available on the repository.
Additionally, we will display your username with any content uploaded.
No Account data
will be shared with other platforms. Ever.
YOUR RIGHTS You may exercise any right as defined by content in this policy, and by
applicable law. You may submit requests as defined by applicable law. You can make requests by emailing admin@stormloader.uk. We may ask for verification that you are the owner of the data before we
complete your request.
Managing your information Data held on our servers relating to your account can
be managed in the account settings section of your content home. Content you upload can be managed
from the content home page (the first page after logging in).
Data access In some jurisdictions, as applicable by law, we may be required to
provide you with a copy of all of the data held on our servers relating to your account. This
information is all available in its relevant areas in your account settings and content home pages.
Any data not displayed here and stated as collected can be requested.
It should be noted that we are
unable to provide you with a copy of your plain text password, and, if you set it, your recovery email address. these
are hashed with a password-grade algorithm. We can still provide you with copies of the hashes if requested.
Data erasure You are entitled to request all data relating to your account,
including content you upload, is deleted. You can do this in the account settings section of your
content home.
SECURITY Although we take every precaution to ensure your account data is secure,
security cannot be guaranteed. We use password-grade hashing for your passwords and email addresses to ensure that; in the event of a security incident,
an attacker cannot gain access to your account, nor identify your password or email. Of course, it is still good
practice to use different passwords for different sites.
