When signing up to or using the repository, you agree to adhere to the terms and conditions set out in this document. These terms are subject to change at any time, without notice.

  1. DEFINITIONS
    The definitions listed below apply to any undefined terms in this document, and in the Privacy Policy.
    1. You. This refers to the user or viewer of the website.
    2. StormLoader. This refers to the complementary application to the web app.
    3. Repository. This refers to the online content storage.
    4. Content. This refers to data you upload or view on the repository.
    5. We. Refers to the administration team managing the StormLoader repository (as this is not a business).

  2. GENERAL USAGE
    By accessing the StormLoader repository, you represent that you are aged 13 or older.

    You will use the repository service reasonably and as intended; to facilitate the distribution of mods for the game 'StormWorks: Build and Rescue'. You may not display, duplicate, dismantle, reverse-engineer, circumvent, or repurpose any property or service owned or operated by StormLoader, other than those where the source code is provided. 
    You will not intentionally harm, disparage, or in any way disrupt the operation of the StormLoader repository.
    You view and use all content at your own risk. Content submitted to the repository expresses the views of the author, not necessarily those of the administration team for the repository.

  3. CONTENT YOU UPLOAD
    Content you upload includes all data submitted to our services. StormLoader does not claim any ownership over your content. By submitting content, you are granting us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license for StormLoader to to store, distribute, copy, reproduce, or publicly display content, at our discretion. However, as we do not claim an indefinite license, you may, whenever you wish to, remove content from the repository

    You are not permitted to redistribute, sell or repackage any content without the express permission of the content owners, and other invested parties, when applicable.

    By submitting content to the StormLoader Repository, you understand that it must be legal, and adhere to standards as defined further in this policy. If your content fails to adhere to this, we may remove it without notice or explanation.

    It is not always possible to identify a file that does not meet the standards to be uploaded to the repository. We rely on reactive moderation. The existence of a file that violates the conditions outlined in this document does not imply out approval of, or indifference to said file. This means that content found to be in violation of content standards is not excusable even if other similar submissions exist.

  4. FAIR USE POLICY
    We have limited content storage, we therefore limit the upload size of content you submit. Spam or multiple identical uploads designed to deny access to the repository will not be permitted and will result in administrative action against your account, including, but not limited to: the deletion of all your content, and, the termination of your account.

    Attempting to download data from the repository, or upload data to the repository at a rate that exceeds the expected average, through the use of software automation or otherwise, is prohibited without express permission. If a user can be identified in violation of this, their account will be terminated.

  5. ANTI-PIRACY POLICY
    We will take action against any user who's content gives us reasonable grounds to believe they are using pirated content, such as, but not limited to, games and software.

  6. LIABILITY
    You own all intellectual property in your own original content you upload to the repository. You must not upload any content not originally created by you, or any content which is not properly licensed to you by someone else for uploading or contributing.

    We are not liable for any damages or penalties incurred through the use of our systems, including those related to user-submitted content.

  7. PROHIBITED AND ILLICIT CONTENT
    Content deemed to be illegal by UK law, including, but not limited to pornographic depictions of sexual violence, indecent depictions of minors, bestiality, necrophilia etc... is strictly prohibited and will result in administrative action when appropriate, and notification to the proper authorities.

  8. ACCOUNTS AND USER IDENTITY
    We do not store, neither request any data that can identify an individual, to find out what data we collect, please read our Privacy Policy.

    In order to access certain services, you must create and utilise a single account (i.e. one account per person) consisting of a username and password.

    When creating an account to use our services, you must choose an appropriate username for all audiences. If your username is deemed inappropriate, it will be met with moderation, generally in the form of your username being changed, or the termination of your account. We are not responsible for any unauthorized use of your account. You are responsible for ensuring you keep your records up to date, and we cannot be held responsible if you lose access to your account if you fail to do so. 

    We encourage you not to disclose any personal information using our systems. 

  9. ACCOUNT ACCESS
    It is the responsibility of the account owner, yourself, to ensure that you undertake appropriate procedures to protect your login information and to ensure that your records are up to date. If you lose access to your account for any reason that cannot be attributed to changes to our systems, we cannot be held responsible.

    In the case where you lose access to your account, due to loss of your password, and you do not have a recovery email set, you are entitled to submit a request. Email admin@stormloader.uk. The choice to assist in recovery is at our discretion, If your request is successful, we will ask you to provide proof of account ownership, this may include: original content files for a mod you uploaded, communications with moderators via other services that can prove you have created an account or have used the repository in the past, or proof that you previously had access to the account.

  10. CONTENT STANDARDS
    Content uploaded to the repository must adhere to the following conditions. These conditions are subject to change, without notice.
    1. Be no larger than 50 Megabytes.
    2. be correctly formatted in the SLP format or; to be formatted in a logical way as a .zip such that the StormLoader client can automatically install the content.
    3. Contain no illicit or prohibited content as outlined in section 7.
    4. Contain content that you have created or have the explicit permission to share and redistribute.
